Title: Ranch Foreman

Location: Anderson, Texas

Compensation: $40,000

Housing: Newly built housing will be provided

Job Description: 

As the Ranch and Facilities Foreman of this property, you will be responsible for the oversight of the maintenance and upkeep of the ranch. The tasks include but are not limited to:
  • Lodge maintenance and upkeep of 4 homes
  • Cleaning the interior of the lodges
  • Lawn care and landscaping (Mowing, weed eating ect….)
  • Vehicle care and cleaning (Oil changes, rotating tires ect..)
  • Lodge, vehicle and equipment supply inventory
  • Heavy equipment operation and maintenance (Oil and fluids changing)
  • Fence monitoring and upkeep
  • Monitoring and upkeep of water systems (Lodge and Pasture)
  • Road work and tree clearing
  • Shredding roads and pastures
  • Clean up after weekend events (Picking up tables and chairs and organizing)

Prerequisites: 

  • Heavy equipment operation and maintenance would be good but willingness to learn this is important
  • Thoughtful approach to each day with plans and being task oriented
  • Cleanliness and neatness on the ranch a must

Title: Ranch Foreman

Location: Somerville, Texas

Compensation: $50,000

Housing: Housing included (1 BR Apartment)

Job Description: 

The ranch is located in Somerville, Tx and is comprised of
600 +/- acres. Located 10 minutes North East of Somerville, Tx and towards
College Station, the ranch has been meticulously manicured for private
family recreation and enjoyment. This is a private family ranch with native
game species and some exotic species including a breeding herd of White
Elk. The goal of this ranch is to maintain the habitat and aesthetic appeal the
owner has created for his family through daily upkeep and maintenance
while monitoring the elk in the pens.
As the Ranch Foreman of the ranch, you will be
responsible to execute the maintenance and general upkeep of the property.
As the desire of the ownership is to continually enhance the habitat and
water on the ranch, you will be directly involved in all aspects of keeping up
with all hands-on tasks associated. There will be times when there is a need
for more help on the ranch and he will provide the labor for projects that
require assistance. The scope of work will include bot not be limited to:

  • Ranch infrastructure maintenance and upkeep
  • Maintaining the roads throughout the ranch
  • Spraying brush growth in problem areas
  • Spraying vegetation in the roadways
  • Cutting and Removing downed limbs from trails and roads
  • Monitoring and repairing the fence boundary.
  • Shredding roads
  • Yard maintenance and upkeep
  • Assisting with vehicle and equipment upkeep and scheduled maintenance
  • Operating equipment to remove brush
  • Care for 3 horses such as cleaning stalls, feeding, pasturing, and schedule veterinary needs
  • Filling feeders
  • Light plumbing requirements such as repairing broken PVC lines
  • Monitor the owners house while they are away
  • Schedule maintenance and repairs on the house that require contract labor
  • Monitoring and feeding a herd of elk in breeding pens

Title: Couple's Team Position

Location: Dripping Springs, Texas

Compensation: $60,000

Housing: Housing included (3BR/2BA), truck provided for work use only

Job Description: 
The ranch is located in Dripping Springs, Tx and is
comprised of 235 +/- acres. The ranch is used as private family recreation
and enjoyment. The ranch once had cattle grazing but the owners are now
more focused on wildlife preservation on the ranch. Located on the property,
also, is a 6 acre non-profit farm that carries it’s own staff.
As the Manager of the ranch, you will be
responsible to execute the maintenance and general upkeep of the property,
and work directly with the owners, contractors and other staff to manage the
property accordingly. Hospitality for the owners and their guests is the
focus. The scope of work will include but not be limited to: 
  • Ranch grounds maintenance and upkeep
  • Care for and feed 5 horses and a full chicken coop (Keep detailed records of health)
  • Be the point of contact for owner and give regular updates
  • Maintaining the roads throughout the ranch (Shredding and clearing)
  • Operate heavy equipment safely and efficiently (Tractor, Skid Steers, etc.)
  • Schedule and manage contractors (Screen and bid contractors)
  • Realistic daily/weekly/monthly work plans
  • Providing protections for animals and property during extreme weather conditions
  • Knowledge of household systems such as plumbing and electric (Bid and hire contractors when needed)
  • Full house keeping for all buildings
  • Prepare house for owner/guest arrivals (Pantry and fridge stocked, Food Prep, Cooking)
  • Must work with the non-profit farm staff as help is needed

Title: Ranch Manager

Location: Alice, Texas

Compensation: Based on experience. Insurance for the individual will be included in the overall salary of the manager

Job Description: 
Located 15 miles northwest of Alice is the 3,100 acre ranch. The ranch is a family owned and privately held high fenced property focusing on wildlife recreation opportunities and land improvement. The owner is seeking to continue a family friendly hunting/recreation ranch with a strong emphasis on quail, trophy whitetail, duck and fishing stewardship. The owner of the property wants to keep a close relationship with the manager and further develop the property into a south Texas iconic ranch. They are trying to create an atmosphere of comfort and aesthetic value as the ranch evolves. The goal will be to grow trophy quality animals, have great hospitality and promote the natural habitat to ensure the greatest opportunity for the game to thrive. 

As the Ranch and Facilities Manager of this property, you will be responsible for the complete oversight of the ranch. The tasks include but are not limited to:


  • Range management and habitat improvement
  • Wildlife management
  • Ranch and Lodging development oversight
  • MLD filings and upkeep with TPWD
  • Scouting, guiding and processing of game animals
  • Lodge maintenance and upkeep
  • Lawn care and landscaping
  • Vehicle Care and cleaning
  • Lodge, vehicle and equipment supply inventory
  • Heavy equipment operation and maintenance (Backhoe, tractor, skid steer)
  • Fence monitoring and upkeep
  • Guest relations

  • Road work and brush clearing
